A fast-growing Fintech start-up specialising in Commercial E-Payment Solutions, headquartered in Central London, is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join the Legal & Commercial function for a long-term Fixed Term Contract. Over the past few years, the company has become the UK’s leading service provider in its specialisation. They have developed an award-winning payments platform that streamlines KYC/AML, legal entity liquid asset processing and financial management. This organisation is authorised and regulated by the FCA.

Responsibilities
Reporting into the General Counsel, the Senior Paralegal will work largely autonomously in their role, with the support of the Commercial team and the legal departmental. The Senior Paralegal will specifically provide legal advice and contract management to the Sales and Marketing functions. Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the business in setting up an automated contract management system and training staff
- Review, update and draft on a wide range of contract templates, including;
- Sales and Marketing contracts
- General Commercial Contracts and Service Agreements
- NDAs
- Full contract management, including delivering process improvements, ensuring consistency, and ensuring contracts are completed on time
- Liaising between a range of commercial departments, including Legal, Sales and Marketing, Procurement, IT and the Board of Directors
- Identifying and offering solutions for possible risks in contract processes and other legal areas
Candidate requirements
- Experience working with automated tools for commercial contracts
- Agile (think on your feet and flexible around business priorities), hands-on professional with a strong sense of initiative, pro-activity and investigative mind-set
- Solutions focused and engaging approach whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism, ethics, and integrity
- Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders
- A strong customer focus and highly effective relationship management
- Ideally, prior Fintech/Payments sector experience
