A European Property and Leisure entity is seeking a German qualified lawyer to join their in-house legal function in Germany, near the French and German border. The role has been designed to provide legal support to the company’s German centre and some support to their Swiss counterpart. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a established world-class organisation, whose revenue has doubled year on year.
Reporting to the Head of Legal, the Legal Counsel will be responsible for advising the business on general property leasing contracts, commercial contracts, compliance, negotiating and drafting a wide range of complex marketing agreements and consultancy agreements.
You will be expected to provide high quality and timely legal advice in connection with the resolution of contractual disputes and contract management/interpretation issues.
It is essential that the lawyer is German qualified and has excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with a variety of individuals and back office functions across the business. Fluency in German and English is a must.
