Responsibilities
This is a permanent In-House Legal Counsel role, reporting into the Commercial EMEA Head of Legal. The successful legal counsel will advise the business on a range of commercial matters across the EMEA Region, including;
- Drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, distributor/agency agreements, joint development agreements, contractor terms and various EMEA deals
- Liaising across the different business units, negotiating, drafting and agreeing new contracts and renewals
- Point of escalation on insurance, liability, IPR and operational risks.
- Advising on general commercial matters, including competition, IP, & tax
- Provide advice to the Businesses in respect to corporate governance and compliance matters
- Provide legal and compliance training to the business
You
A passionate and enthusiastic mid-level commercially minded lawyer who can offer value to the business by excelling in the area of stakeholder management. Prior experience in Sustainability, Technology and Consulting sectors would be beneficial, however all candidates with relevant EMEA commercial contracts experience are encouraged to apply.
